  • Quote is subject to variations, if the scope of works are changed by the client or unforeseen issues

    arise, additional costs may occur. All prices in the quote are valid for 21 days from the date listed on

    the quotation. After that 21-day period has elapsed, the customer will be required to pay for any

    increases if the quoted price has changed and a new quote will be generated.

    Due to the high cost of materials, a deposit is required prior to commencement of works and

    progress payments will be required throughout the project upon completion of each task specified above (see payment schedule).

  • Magnolia Landscapes are not responsible for and have not included provisions for any council rates, fees or permits of council cross overs or relating changes/documentation.

    No soil will be taken offsite by Magnolia Landscapes. If soil needs to be removed from site, and is agreed upon by both parties, it will be charged depending on soil type.

    Contaminated soil or mixed rubbish will be removed and asbestos removal will be removed at quoted pricing as external parties may need to assist in this removal.

    The upmost care will be taken in relation to damage to utilities however, Magnolia Landscapes will not be responsible for and have not included provisions for the relocation of any service or utilities found during excavation or impeding the scope of works quoted.

    Magnolia Landscapes are not responsible for and have not included provisions for any site surveys or plans. If boundary fences are to be installed, Magnolia Landscapes require the owner to provide a relevant survey plan of the boundaries and will not take responsibility if the information provided is incorrect.

    No staining or oiling of timber is included unless otherwise stated in the quote.

    Magnolia Landscapes will only take responsibility for the compliance of pool fencing installed by Magnolia Landscapes. Compliance of existing fencing or pool surrounds, unless otherwise stated in

    the quote, is not the responsibility of Magnolia Landscapes.

    Magnolia Landscapes have not included provisions and will not be responsible for bagging, painting or rendering structural installations unless otherwise stated in the quote. If work has already commenced, these additions can be added in as variations to the contract if agreed on by both parties.

    No provisions have been made for the following elements, unless otherwise stated on the quotation or contract:

    • Conduit or provisions for wires or cables

    • Handles or locks for gates and pedestrian entrances

    • Maintenance schedules and upkeep of plants, gardens or lawns

    • Electrical wiring/power points or outdoor lighting

    • Removal of rubbish of any kind made by other contractors or the client

  • It is assumed that all existing soil on site is not contaminated and suitable for landscaping works. Any contaminated soil or material discovered will be treated as a variation.

    It is assumed the site is clear and accessible, and not obstructed by client belongings, rubbish, or other contractors at the time works commence.

    If plans, surveys, or drawings have been provided by others, it is assumed that all measurements, levels, and details are accurate and suitable for construction set-out.

    It is assumed that previous works by other contractors have been completed to the correct standard and will not negatively affect works carried out by Magnolia Landscapes.

    It is assumed that all underground services (water, gas, electrical, sewer, stormwater, irrigation, NBN, etc.) are correctly located and marked. Magnolia Landscapes will not be responsible for damage to services that are not identified prior to construction.

    It is assumed that all required council approvals, strata approvals, and certifications have been obtained by the client unless specifically included in our scope.

    Pricing is based on the assumption that existing concrete garden slabs do not exceed a depth of 100mm, and existing concrete driveway slabs do not exceed a depth of 125mm. Any concrete found to be in excess of these depths, or containing heavy reinforcement (steel) not previously disclosed, may incur additional labor and disposal charges.

  • Magnolia Landscapes allows for a 1% tolerance on plants perishing within the first 6 weeks.

    Plants that perish up to 1% of the amount installed due to a direct correlation between Magnolia Landscapes and the installation process will be replaced at no charge to the client.

    Decking oils, paving sealing and finishes, driveway tints and sealers will only be replaced in the event of faded colour or damage outside of reasonable wear and tear for the duration of 1 year from completion of works, and under the conditions that no solvents or other works have been completed in the area during this time.

    Turf will be under warranty if it perishes completely in the first 4-5 weeks of being laid on ground and under the conditions it did not perish due to circumstances outside of the control of Magnolia Landscapes, such as but not limited to; pet damage, accidental chemical spraying and other contractor’s works around the area directly relating to damage.

    It is always advised that the lawn is kept off for up to 6 weeks. It is the responsibility of the client to water the lawn after Magnolia Landscapes has left the site.

    Any problems arising must be reported before the end of the 4th week so that the warranty is not lost.

  • Magnolia Landscapes reserves the right to take photographs and/or videos of the property before, during, and after the completion of works. These images may be used for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website portfolios, and printed brochures.

    No personal details (such as specific house numbers or names) will be disclosed. If the Client wishes to opt-out of this clause, they must provide written notice prior to the commencement of works.

  • Magnolia Landscapes and Horticulture ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

  • We collect information necessary to provide landscaping and horticultural services, including:

    • Contact Details: Name, email address, phone number, and physical property address.

    • Project Information: Site photos (before/after), garden specifications, and property access details.

    • Technical Data: IP addresses and browsing behaviour collected via our website through the Meta Pixel and cookies.

  • We collect information when you:

    • Fill out an enquiry form on our website.

    • Contact us via phone, email, or social media.

    • Interact with our website (automated collection via cookies and tracking pixels).

    • Provide consent for us to take photos of your property for project management or marketing.

  • We use your data to:

    • Provide quotes and perform landscaping services.

    • Communicate regarding project timelines and maintenance.

    • Marketing: We use the Meta Pixel to show you relevant advertisements based on your interests.

    • Showcasing Work: We may use project photos for marketing purposes, but only with your verbal or written consent and without disclosing your specific address.

  • We do not sell your data. We only share information with:

    • Contractors: Only if they are assisting on your specific project.

    • Service Providers: Such as website hosting, email platforms, and advertising partners (e.g., Meta/Facebook).

    • Legal Requirements: If required by Australian law.

  • We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access or disclosure. Digital data is stored on secure servers, and we limit physical access to client files.

  • You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it. You can also opt-out of marketing communications at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" or contacting us directly.
